Workforce Development Network
The Workforce Development Network brings together people from across the voluntary sector social services workforce to share ideas, knowledge and practice and work together to help influence change.
The Network holds quarterly meetings in two venues - generally one in the central belt and another in Aberdeen. Recent topics have included the skills agenda, the continuous learning framework, and a meeting with representatives from the Scottish Government. All meetings provide an opportunity for networking with colleagues.
Network members are also invited to contribute to Workforce Unit responses to relevant national policy consultations or working groups, either via email, telephone or at specially designed events. If you would like to join the Workforce Development Network, please sign up online, or e-mail Laura Weir at vswu.admin@ccpscotland.org
